[robotic services]
As an extension of the creative work we employ robotic arm not only for fabrication of art and design objects but also focus on its performative potential. We are currently searching for collaborators and applications in both of those fields- fabrication and performative arts to brainstorm about potential applications and events. Contact us if you are interested.
RESEARCH
FABRICATION RESEARCH FOR ARCHITECTURE and ART
We want to take advantage of the genericness of the robotic arm and try to simplify existing blackboxed industrial fabrication processes, as well as develop new ones. So far we have successfully worked with rod bending technology but we look closely at others, specially those which we could improve with machine learning algorithms that embed human expertise.
PROTOTYPING
EDUCATION
WORKSHOPS
We organize educational workshops and courses that are technology, digital design and robotic oriented. individually, as well as in collaboration with academic institutions and schools
KIDS and TECH
The educational program dedicated for children to be introduced to the potentials of technologies in a playful and participatory fashion
ENTERTAINMENT
PERFORMATIVE ARTS
We see the robot as a performer on stage with carefully designed choreography, as well as in interactive and real time setup
COMMERCIAL AND ART EVENTS
We support tech-oriented companies and other institutions during their business events with robotic live performances and demonstrations in Zurich and rest of Switzerland.

WORKSHOPS

KIDZARCHI #1 during DRAWBOT exhibition
with AREA Institute, Paris
Together with AREA Institute at the AAn+1 gallery we organized and as a part of DRAWBOT event, we organize a children’s workshop (from 6 years) to draw with a robotic arm and produce their own robotic work!

Generative Design and Robotic Rod Bending
with Mateusz Zwierzycki (the Object)
The workshop we organized together with Mateusz Zwierzycki, aimed to materialize a chair designed with help of generative algorithms via robotic fabrication. To design the form of the chair we will go through an intensive course of generative design techniques, k-means clustering, structural analysis and optimization done with the help of Anemone, Galapagos, Millipede and other plugins

Robotic Rod Bending for structurally optimized spaceframes
hosted by Digital Knowledge ENSA Paris-Malaquais
jury: Philippe Morel, Pierre Cutellic, Leslie Ware
This workshop was focused on workflows designed to produce structurally optimised irregular space frames with the use of robotic arm employed for the process of non standard rod bending.

TEXTILES & ADHESIVES // CR+F&T intensive workshop
with Johannes Braumann, Creative Robotics UfG with Fashion and Technology UfG Linz
2 days intensive workshop to explore different possibilities for fabric stiffening by robotically applied adhesives.

Robotic Rod Bending,
crits: , FHNW, Jonathan Levien
Intensive workshop fro Industrial Design students
